Spring Time

It is full blown spring - just like the grass, flowers, and weeds (frowny face) the students are growing. We are going through snacks incredibly quick and we are noticing that clothing is not fitting as it once did! Shoes especially!

Track and Field Day

Hello Parents:

Track and Field  -  May 26th, next Thursday
At Beaverton High School
     Please dress appropriately and in layers - the area is not covered.
     SACK LUNCH REQUIRED!!

We are taking some of our buddies with us! Yay! It's going to be a great day.

Buses will leave McKinley at 9:15 am  and return I think about 1:00 pm.

You are more than welcome to bring your child to Beaverton High School and you are more than welcome to take your child home from Beaverton High School.

We will be having a movie and popcorn when we return.

I invite all of you to join us for at least part of the day. It is such a wonderful event and the kids love showing off how amazing they are!

Permission slips and additional details will come home tomorrow. Some of you have not yet turned in your permission slips - please make sure you sign and return.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS

Hello All - Please note that there is a flyer and permission slip coming home today for Special Olympics. Please sign and return the permission slip by Friday, May 20th.

Remember also - all are welcome to join us at Beaverton High School on that day. I look forward to seeing everyone.

Side Note - thank you to all who remember Teacher Appreciation week/day. We appreciate your thoughtfulness.
